Controlled Hot & Chilled Water

Why the QURA Controlled Hot and Chilled?

Taurus Fitted Bedrooms have teamed up with Hotspot Titanium, one of the world’s innovators of boiling water appliances, to produce a safe and effective way of offering your patients and staff a safe, clean, and instant hot & chilled water system.

Hot controlled and chilled water in an instant – The QURA tap has been specially developed with the UK care industry in mind, offering a safe, controlled hot and chilled water tap in a stylish & clean stainless steel finish.  With the QURA, safety comes first with an ergonomically solid reduced ligature designed hot controlled and chilled dispense interface. It’s built with CQC standards in mind. The capacity of our hot controlled set temperature water heaters ranges from 4 to 8 liters. The capacity of our chillers ranges from 95 to 300 glasses of chilled water per hour.

One-stop-shop – Here at Taurus Fitted Bedrooms, we have designed a complimentary fitted cabinet to house the Qura system.  As with all our fitted furniture quality and safety are key to ensuring there are no ligature risks in the design of the product.   Our fitted storage cabinet is available in 3 colours – Montana Oak, Swiss Elm & Walnut.

  • Controlled hot water

    The dispense temperature for the hot water can be adjusted and set between 35-70 degrees for more vulnerable and high-risk areas. The QURA system can also dispense boiling water for areas where higher temperatures are not of concern.

  • A safe & solid, hot & cold tap

    With QURA, Safety comes first with an ergonomically reduced ligature design Hot and Cold safe dispense temperatures. The system is designed with CQC standards in mind and no sharp edges for ease of cleaning and safe use by everyone.

  • High performance chiller

    Our high-performance water chillers have a unique hydronic system to cool your water. The system provides fast delivery of chilled water with a very efficient cooling technique. The tank of the chiller is made out of high-quality stainless steel and is fully protected by a Kevlar coating and therefore leakproof.

  • Long life expectations

    Due to the high-quality materials that we use within our water heater and chiller, we can guarantee a long life expectancy of your QURA system. Our chillers make use of the best ventilation techniques to keep the chiller in optimum performance.
